AMAZING RACE: STUDENTS EDITION.showing earlier this afternoon.location: mandaluyong.the weather was just fine... not too sunny.the air was swelteringly humid but at least Apollo was too busy with something else to pay attention to the occurrences down south.anyway, my "teammates" and i were waiting in front of Adelina's store. we were supposed to hold RTU's Band's tarpouline. so we were just waiting...waiting...waiting...you get the idea.i mean, it seemed as if everyone already passed by and yet we were still there waiting for the freaking band to come.ah gawd.then RTU students came around...so we were like "here they are!! ALAS!!"but then, saying that they burst our bubbles is an understatement.they actually smashed our hopes to pieces and stomped on those pieces until all that can be seen by the naked eye are tiny particles glinting under the light.THE RTU BAND WAS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN.hence, we rushed to DBTC to check if the bands were still there. i mean, almost every band already passed us by!!we got there and, lo and behold!THE RTU BAND WAS STILL NOWHERE TO BE SEEN.our lucky star was really shining so brilliantly... ha. ha. ha.so, basically, my "teammates" and i were inadvertently forced to participate in an AMAZING RACE STUDENTS EDITION.brought to you by mandaluyong science high school...we turned around and started our 100meter dash (although im really certain that it was WAY MORE than a hundred meters) to intercept the parade.running...running...running...you get the idea.when we reached the final pitstop, maysilo circle, the first bands were already done.what a luck. told you, our lucky stars were really burning soooo brightly up in the night sky.. ha.but then again, we reached the final pitstop before most of our other classmates did. my "teammates" and i didnt get to flaunt ourselves in front of the mandaluyong crowd but our unexpected marathon was something to be proud of. (dont end your sentences with a preposition)fine. my "teammates" and i didnt get to flaunt ourselves in front of the mandaluyong crowd but our unexpected marathon was something to be proud of, right?(there. no more prepositional endings. haha.)it was amazing to think that we managed to go around mandaluyong ON FOOT.my endurance is high and i dont get tired easily. maybe it has something to do with the walking fetish in argentina... but then again, that was in argentina. ive never done that here in the philippines. it never crossed my mind that i would be able to walk from my house to mandsci.ever.but then again, nothing's too impossible.or so they say.me, for once, i can say that nothing is impossible.can be a bit unlikely. but not impossible.
