it has been quite some time when i last posted an entry here in this blog. we have been quite busy. as you can see, we've had the Seniors Christmas Concert last night. the preparations have been overwhelmingly extravagant, we know. especially for our section.for three consecutive days, we have been crying our hearts out. if only we've gathered all the lachrymal secretions that we've shed, we could have filled a jug or what.there will be more battles to come but as long as we are together, we will come out not unscathed but definitely stronger than before.we have learned lessons in life. heaps of it, actually. sometimes, there are lessons that are meant to be learned the hard way. there are lessons that cannot be learned in any other way except through the most damaging way possible."...what doesn't kill you will make you stronger..."in an ironic twist of fate, unity put wings on our backs and carried us high... leaving the important values behind.it is not the goal but the process of how you reach that goal that is important.i remembered something i've said during a recitation. "...the ends justifies the means..."and it was opposed by my teacher. after that, it didnt cross my mind anymore. then, it was stated again.stated but in a revised version."... the ends DOES NOT justify the means..."and in that moment of reckoning, it dawned on me that the revised version provides for a clearer sense than the original quote...washing one's hands off the matter at hand would not do anything remotely good.one might think, might believe, that s/he is not involved. but let us recall that when you follow evil, that is considered evil as well.and, uh, not to mention the saying UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALLhave heaps to say. heaps to share. heaps...but time is directly contravening to my desire to continue my rantings...well then, until here.
