supposed to be studying for the 1st periodical exams but temptation got in my way.
again.
so, well, i dont know why but i have this urge to post an entry in this blog.
actually, ANY entry.
(look at how temptation works.. lol.)

im a so-called "audiophile". it's just that, sometimes, i overanalyze the songs... lol. anyway, im going to post excerpts/lines/phrases from songs...
im not against starry-eyed idealistic love songs, mind you. i adore these songs. i just cant help but post this entry anyways...

--- why is it that heaps (and i mean HEAPS) of love songs are always, ALWAYS so damned positive and exaggerated about love? im not against love or anything. it's just that a fact that ive observed... lol.

--- why would a child let go of his kite, anyway? it would only be because he has gotten tired of it, right? it wouldn't be accidental. you see, the keyword was "letting go"

--- sorry, time travel is not yet possible. btw, if a love is perfect then it cant go wrong. now, considering that it WENT WRONG, it means one thing: love is not perfect.

--- to understand this song i took it apart. the part about the future being architecture by idiots i could actually relate to today because it's like you have a bunch of famous people being idiots and setting a bad example for the future and so you should "lie low". But it also relates to the past when people in europe not thinking for themselves and being controlled by the catholic church. And the part about the banks becoming cathedrals is about how the church made tithes a tax that had to be paid. Also the fog becoming god connotes that the people were confused by the church's demands but it was claimed to be the will of god so people believed it. Religion was the fuel of almost every fire and that's why it says the cross was held aloft.
